![]() With Strade gone, Ren removed his shock collar and took over the house. Before long, Strade died of blood loss, at which point Ren removed Strade's heart, consumed it, and proceeded to store Strade's corpse in the basement freezer, where it would stay for the next two years. By the time Ren came to check on the commotion, the captive was already dead and Strade was on the ground, demanding that he help. However, this lifestyle eventually came to an end when one of Strade's captives (potentially the MC from BTD1) managed to attack him, stabbing him in the neck. Though Strade initially planned to murder Ren, the beastkin was so spineless and desperate to please that Strade got attached, prompting Strade to make a special shock collar and keep Ren as his pet. It was around this time that his fox ears and tail popped out, immediately catching Strade's attention. Strade bought him a beer and, after listening to Ren mope about how lonely he was and how much his life sucked, spilt a drink on Ren and took him out the back door under the guise of getting him to the bathroom. ![]() ![]() Ren was stood up by a date, leaving him alone and depressed at the Braying Mule. Ren's encounter with Strade began no differently than any of Strade's previous victims. Upon learning that his mother had killed several of his siblings before his birth, Ren fled and eventually ended up in Canada, completely cutting contact with his mother. As a result of this policy, Ren was never allowed to meet his human father. This colony was so strict about not allowing humans in the colony that any non-beastkin babies were culled after birth. Ren's mother lived in a secretive colony of beastkin. ![]()
